Context: German LNG, a subsidiary of Gasunie, has taken a new step in the development of the onshore LNG Terminal in Brunsbüttel. The company CS Gas North S.A. will build the terminal. As initial customers, contracts have been signed with ConocoPhillips, INEOS and RWE Supply & Trading. In addition, the licensing procedure has now started.
The terminal is expected to be operational in 2026 and will have an annual throughput capacity of at least 8 billion cubic metres (bcma) of natural gas with a possible expansion to at least 10 bcma. Gasunie, as operator, will operate the terminal after completion of construction work.
Content: 4 LNG compression trains for their pumping substation. Project team composition: Engineering (6 people), quality, purchaser (transformers and coolers for filter), cost control, filter sub-project (1PM, 5 technicians), motor sub-project (1PM, 5 engineers, 5-10 technicians), logistician.
