Highlights: Management of delays caused by a flaw in the manufacturing method by the subcontractor of a new part designed to meet specific requirements of the final client. The supplier was unable to replicate the test part. Mitigation: we reduced the defect to a visual defect only, as the reliability and durability of the equipment had been ruled out as issues.
Claims Management: Contractual and legal review to reduce the penalties claimed by the client.
